Hi! You’ve arrived at this guide and you are wondering why it seems to be such a challenge to enter the username and password that you’ve been given, let’s see if we can help!

Your log in details might have come via email, company communication or your manager has told you.

Top tip – if you’ve registered an email address then you can also log in using that instead of your username.

The first thing to check is that you’ve typed everything correctly, we’re all guilty of the occasional typo!

Next, make sure you haven’t accidently hit the “caps lock” key on your keyboard because passwords are CaSe senSiTive.

We all forget our passwords from time to time; don’t worry, it’s really no big deal! We can always help you reset it.

If you’re not sure how to reset your password, read on.

Select Having trouble signing in?

Pick an option; most likely, you’ll want I’ve signed in before and have forgotten my login details.

Enter your email address.

Note: You can only have one email address per person – you cannot share your email address with another learner.

Check your email, (and check your junk/spam folder if necessary) with a link, which is only valid for 1 hour. So, make sure you don’t put off resetting your password for too long!

Once you get this email, press the Reset Password button.

What else would you like to know?

Here’s a few more top tips…

If you’ve picked the I’m new and I don’t know my login details option, you must speak to your manager; you cannot self-serve here at the login screen.

If you’ve picked the I have another problem option, then we’ll do our best to point you to one of our excellent guides, and if that doesn’t work for you, there is always our chat or you can email support@upskillpeople.com

There’s also a chat facility if you'd prefer so just click on Chat where you see it:

We look forward to helping you shine and in return there are a few things you can do for us too.

Please let us know straightaway:

- Who you are – your name and username are perfect (don’t tell us your password)

- Who do you work for?

- Which learning platform are you accessing? It’ll tell you this at the top of your browser page:

- And, of course, how you’d like us to help you!

All of these things will help us to help you more quickly and get you logged in and learning.

If the password reset isn’t working, what could be wrong?

You might have given an incorrect email address, either at the reset stage or it might be wrong from when you were initially set up. Check this with your manager.

You might have clicked the link to reset after the 1-hour expiry limit, so you’ll need to request another password reset link from the login screen.

You might have missed the email that we sent you because it went into your junk/spam folder.

You may have logged into the wrong platform.
