Setting your courses as Mandatory

So, how do you make your courses mandatory?

Perhaps a better question is, why would you make your courses mandatory in the first place? Well, let's start there.

The learning platform is geared up to deliver and report on mandatory content. This means you'll be able to filter the reporting on just the mandatory courses so you can make informed decisions and brief your Exec teams on the critical stuff.

You'll be able to set up email digests that send your teams a personal weekly email detailing the mandatory courses they’ve yet to complete. Your managers will receive a separate email digest indicating which team members have not completed their mandatory courses.

Here's how you do it, and it all starts from the Courses menu on your dashboard:

Pick all courses so that you can see everything, and then pick the course that you want to make mandatory:

Click on Edit Course Info:

Switch the slider across for mandatory:

… and then Save your change

One small step for a platform administrator, one giant leap for your compliance stats!
